The war on drugs is a failure because we are not fighting it like a war. In short the war is a failure because it was never really a war…just political rhetoric.

New report from the Global Commission on Drug Policy says “the global war on drugs has failed, with devastating consequences for individuals and societies around the world”. The commission calls for a move away from criminalization, and towards public health. But the Obama Administration has already dismissed this report. TYT University host Ana Kasparian weighs in.
